Warande Advisory Foundation

We established the Warande Advisory Foundation (WAF), a not-for-profit branch of Warande. WAF received an Equivalency Determination (ED), confirming its status as equivalent to a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity.

Launch of the Communities of Practice

We launched our Communities of Practice (CoP), a collaborative platform uniting 45+ local and national organisations, changemakers, practitioners, and stakeholders from 7 African countries . The CoP held its first convening in September.

GlobalGiving

Warande Advisory Foundation joined GlobalGiving, a leading crowdfunding platform, to expand our fundraising efforts and channel resources directly to community-led initiatives in Kenya.

Global Influence & Advocacy

Participated in the Skoll World Forum, UN General Assembly engagements including The Sidebar, and the Segal Family Foundation's Spotlight on Africa event, and facilitated multiple forums centered on locally-led development, shifting power dynamics, scalable impact, and collaborative solutions.
